Dining in Maine
Dining in Maine can span the spectrum of culinary possibilities. The seafood, fresh local produce, diverse ethnic choices, award-winning chefs, quiant cafes and 3-star restaurants await you on your dining adventure. One of the highlights of dining in Maine is The Maine lobster festival – peaceful, quaint carnival featuring many options and activities for the whole family. The biggest feature: The seafood, and boy was it good! The first place we went was the dining tent to grab our fresh lobsters & steamers. We then wandered over to the other side where the live music was.
On our way over we kept our eyes open for other cool stuff the festival has to offer; mostly crafts, art, kids activities, and a lot of local flavor. If you have kids, they’re going to enjoy the rides; meanwhile you can eat a lot of amazing food, see some art, buy some gifts, and listen to some decent bands. If you are in the area, it’s certainly worth a day. Activity Maine had a great day in Rockland with a beautiful view of the sunny coast of Maine : )
