DESCRIPTION:From 2-4 pm\, we’ll be pouring complimentary samples of our collaboration beer\, Means & Strategy\, joined by our friends from Brockton Beer Company\, Roberts Vineyard\, and our very own brewmaster\, Jason Perkins. The beer is a beautiful foudre-aged sour blonde ale with muscadine grapes. In it\, you’ll find notes of concord grape\, honey\, and a lightly tart minerality. Julian\, Head Brewer at Brockton\, had the idea to use this native grape – historically cultivated by enslaved laborers in the American South – to honor the history of black winemakers in America. We sourced the grapes from Darlene Williams\, owner of Roberts Vineyard\, who specializes in cultivating muscadines. The event is free\, but let us know you’re coming for an extra chance to win an incredible prize pack. Every Saturday\, we’re planning to have free live music in our brewhouse from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. All you have to do is come on out to our tasting room to enjoy the great music and good vibes.
