Starting May 1st we are tasting: Floating Holiday – blonde with lemon and sea salt\, Dark Lager with Cherries\, Cellar’s #11 – barrel blend with wine grapes\, and World on a String – bourbon barrel aged amber inspired by an “Old Fashioned” cocktail. Final pour is a “choose your own adventure” sample between two rotating options. There will be time at the end to purchase beer & merch to go\, or additional pours. The beer is a beautiful foudre-aged sour blonde ale with muscadine grapes. In it\, you’ll find notes of concord grape\, honey\, and a lightly tart minerality. Julian\, Head Brewer at Brockton\, had the idea to use this native grape – historically cultivated by enslaved laborers in the American South – to honor the history of black winemakers in America. We sourced the grapes from Darlene Williams\, owner of Roberts Vineyard\, who specializes in cultivating muscadines. The event is free\, but let us know you’re coming for an extra chance to win an incredible prize pack.
