DESCRIPTION:Join us for the annual Moosehead Lake week-long fishing derby\, March 6-13\, 2021. \nIn memory of Maggie “The Bait Lady” \n40th Annual Moosehead Lake Ice Fishing Derby \n1st\, 2nd\, 3rd Place Salmon\, Brook Trout\, Togue and 1st Place Cusk \nSponsored By: Blue Ridge Riders Snowmobile Club \nTickets are $10 and are available at the following places: Moosehead Bait and Rockwood Convenience\, Lucky Bait and Indian Hill \n1st Place Salmon\, Brook Trout and Togue = $75.00 + Trophy \n2nd Place Salmon\, Brook Trout and Togue = $50 + Trophy \n3rd Place Salmon\, Brook Trout and Togue = $25.00 + Trophy \n1st Place Cusk = $50.00 + Trophy \nOfficial Weigh-In Location: Moosehead Bait and Tackle\, Rockwood \nHours of Weigh-In: 1pm to 5pm\, 12pm on the 7th \nScales close at 4pm sharp Saturday the 13th.  \nYou must present your ticket stub at time of weigh-in. \nDoor Prize: Eskimo 10? Gas Rocket Ice Auger Model: F1R10 \nEvery derby ticket sold will be a chance to win the auger! \nUnfortunately\, there will be no dinner or raffle this year.  \nBenefits: $500 to plow the Kineo Docks in Rockwood and the remainder will go to Life Flight of Maine.

DESCRIPTION:Join Maine’s Maple Syrup Producers statewide as they celebrate Maine Maple Sunday.\nMost sugarhouses offer free maple syrup samples and demonstrations on how pure Maine maple syrup is made. Many farms offer games\, activities\, treats\, sugarbush tours\, music\, and so much more. Participating sugar houses are taking steps to follow CDC guidelines and prepare their facilities and staff to welcome guests safely on site. \nMaine Maple Sunday is always the fourth Sunday in March although some sugarhouses are offering events for both Saturday and Sunday. Please be sure to read the description of each sugarhouse to know what times they will be open and the activities they offer. \nMay you and your family enjoy your day!
