With Rockport Harbor’s beautiful scenery\, classic wooden yachts\, lighthouse and sunset\, there’s more than enough subject matter to get that perfect shot. \nMichael’s photos are frequently seen in magazines\, on television news\, the Weather Channel\, and has work in several Maine Activities publications. He is also leader of the Photoshop Users Group in Portland so he can give you great advice on how to edit your photos once you’ve taken them. First 30 minutes will be onshore intro by Michael to review your camera settings so you can make your best shot. Then we set sail! \nMichael will also have some camera equipment to use if you find the need for it. Complimentary cheese and crackers included. SUMMARY:North Woods Throwdown
DESCRIPTION:On June 28\, 2025 our annual charity softball game will be played at the ballpark in Old Orchard Beach Maine. Gates open at 2:00 PM\, game starts at 4:00 PM. \nMaine Operation Game Thief\, in partnership with the West Virginia Natural Resources Police Officers Association and International Wildlife Crimestoppers\, will be the recipients of all proceeds from the game. \nThe funds raised will pay for: \n\nconfidential and anonymous tips for illegal poaching\nyouth lifetime hunting & fishing licenses\nsponsor youth hunting & fishing events\nmuch needed equipment put in the field for game wardens to be safer and more efficient\n\nThis year’s North Woods Throwdown will feature Maine Game Wardens vs. West Virginia game wardens\, the game will also be livestreamed and our tee shirts are available online now and can be shipped to your home prior to the game. \nALL AGES price is available for this event.\nTicket prices include a $2 per ticket service fee.\nPlease Note: This event has a rain date of Sunday\, June 29th\, 2025 at Old Orchard Beach Ballpark.

SUMMARY:Kegs & Roses: Beckett Castle Oceanside Garden Benefit Concert for Hogfish
DESCRIPTION:The annual kick-off fundraiser for our summer season! The once-a-year chance for the public to visit the home of Hogfish’s Artists-in-Residence and the internationally recognized rose garden of historic Beckett Castle. \nFrom 5-6pm: enjoy local brews or a glass of wine while wandering the garden at peak bloom which features over 70 varieties of heirloom roses. \nFrom 6-7pm: be serenaded by our 2025 artists-in-residence in an unforgettable Maine summer outdoor concert accompanied by the crashing ocean waves.
