SUMMARY:Run 4 the Fight Race
DESCRIPTION:The 5th Annual Run 4 the Fight\, a four-mile trail run along the Eastern Trail in Kennebunk\, is what Ben’s Fight is all about – Communities fighting together to support local families dealing with cancer. Walk\, run\, or even dance your way along our stroller-friendly course with the family\, or form a team with some co-workers!  Join us in a celebration of physical fitness\, the beauty of Kennebunk\, and the importance of community for the 5th Annual Run 4 the Fight\, starting at Kennebunk Elementary School on Saturday\, October 19th\, 2019. \nA local non-profit\, Ben’s Fight\, Inc.\, was created to give funds directly to families in our community with a cancer diagnosis.  Proceeds from this event will provide financial support for up to 5 local families.

The award-winning course features miles of pristine terrain passing tranquil lakes\, soaring mountains\, sleepy Maine villages\, and stunning seaside vistas —including Somes Sound\, the only fjord on the Eastern Seaboard— all set against the awe-inspiring backdrop of Acadia National Park in peak fall foliage season. The Marathon and Team Relay start in the world-famous resort town of Bar Harbor\, while the Half-Marathon starts in the opulent village of Northeast Harbor.
