SUMMARY:St. Mary’s Commit to Get Fit Challenge
DESCRIPTION:In support of St. Mary’s Nutrition Center\nOur 9th Annual Commit to Get Fit Challenge takes place on the Feast Day of St. Marguerite d’Youville. Last year\, we had more than 400 friends and families raise $85\,500 for the Nutrition Center. \nThis year’s reformatted event will feature a 5K run and Harvest Walk starting and finishing at Simard Payne Memorial Park in Lewiston.  Music\, food\, fitness activities\, demonstrations\, and vendors will be located at the park. \nThe support of our local communities helps us to provide the high quality of care that is essential to our mission of compassionate healing. The health and well-being of our community is at the core of our mission. Fitness is an integral part of building a healthy community\, and we invite you to join us in October 2022. DESCRIPTION:Calling All Runners & Walkers: Support the animals of Hancock County!\nCome join us for our Fourth Annual Howl-O-Run 5k Run / Walk. The event will be held at beautiful Marlboro Beach in Lamoine\, Maine on Sunday\, October\, 3oth at 11:00AM EST. The scenic course will be lined with Jack-O-Lanterns\, and boasts beautiful views of autumn foliage\, the ocean and mountains of Acadia National Park. \nWell-behaved leashed dogs are welcome and costumes for people and their canine companions are encouraged. \nThe first 50 people who sign up will get a free race T-shirt. Prizes will also be given for best costumes (Adult\, Children Under 12\, and Pets) and for the participants who raise the most money for the shelter!
