SUMMARY:Firebird Trail Race
DESCRIPTION:Firebird Trail Race is a grassroots\, tough trail event\, fueled by donations\, positive vibes\, and run on a 5K / 13M / 50K crushing course. It’s technical and challenging\, with lots of rocks and roots on mostly single track trail. The course is largely on the Cross-Falmouth Trail from Windham to Falmouth. Unlike other races\, to get in runners must donate to a non-profit of their choice within a year before the race. This race is truly a community effort\, volunteer run\, with the goal of helping each and every runner accomplish a grueling task\, whether for the first time or the hundredth time. We’ve added a 5K for those who just want a taste of the trails. 13M and 50K runners will receive a Firebird Trail Races shirt.

The Half Marathon is also USATF certified and the Marathon Relay is a unique 2 to 4-person marathon-length event. \nWe will continue to offer our virtual race option\, which\, in addition to the full\, half and relay\, includes a 5K and 10K\, so all can enjoy this race safely wherever they may be. We’re also committed to providing as much certainty as we can in these constantly changing times\, which is why we have a refund policy if your — or our — plans change.
