DESCRIPTION:The 2020 Mid-Winter 10 Mile Classic will be race #1 for the 2020 Maine Track Club Grand Prix series. Points will be awarded based on performance at each MTC race\, and prizes and bragging rights will be given out at the end of the year at the Annual Banquet. \nThe gun will fire on Sunday\, Feb. 2\, 2020 at 9:45 a.m.  The start and finish lines are at Cape Elizabeth High School at 345 Ocean House Rd. \nRegistration will take place in two waves this year. On Saturday\, Nov. 23 at 1 p.m.\, we will be opening 100 spots for Maine Track Club members only. You must be a member in good standing through race day by Thursday\, Nov. 21\, at 6 p.m. in order to be able to register early. (Click here to check your registration status.) \nPublic registration for the remaining 900 bibs will open at 6 a.m. on Monday\, Nov. 25. We expect the race to sell out quickly\, as it has the past few years.

DESCRIPTION:Hang up your tired equipment for the day and test out the high-quality goods from the top independent ski and snowboard brands around. To register\, head to the Welcome Center in the South Ridge Lodge with your credit card and ID\, fill out the necessary paperwork and hit the slopes. All you’ll need is your own ski or snowboard boots\, and a lift ticket or season pass. \nTo demo\, come to the Welcome Center at South Ridge between 8 AM-Noon to register. Then you can pick up your demos slopeside just above the Chondola base starting at 8 AM. All skis/snowboards need to be returned by 2 PM. \nTest out the latest gear from brands like Amalgam\, Parlor\, Meier\, North East Ski Company\, Winterstick Snowboards \, and West Mountain Ski Co.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for a beautiful hike at the Yankee Woodlot! This is a great hike for beginners who want to come out for a nice walk in the woods. We’ll use headlamps and flashlights to illuminate the way. The total hike will be about 1.0 miles with little elevation gain. This is a great way to begin your weekend and a great activity for all ages and abilities. Well behaved dogs are welcome\, but remember to bring poop bags. Be sure to bring water and snowshoes! If you need a pair of snowshoes\, you can reserve them by going to the event description on our calendar page which can be accessed through the link provided. The event is free\, and the equipment is free to use!
