SUMMARY:Cowtrail Classic 5k
DESCRIPTION:The family friendly 5K race will be held on the trails around Pineland Farm\, beginning and ending at the Dairy Barn. The 5k race will begin promptly at 9 a.m. with a kids fun run beginning at 8:45am. We welcome any and all participants for this race\, although baby strollers are not recommended due to the nature of the terrain (jogging strollers at your own judgment\, and dogs are strictly prohibited from Pineland property (do not leave dogs in your car either)\, so please plan accordingly. There will be plenty of prizes\, chocolate milk and other nutritious dairy snacks for the racers. It’s a great opportunity to meet dairy farmers and help raise money for a great cause. Proceeds will be donated to the Milk2MyPlate program. \nCost to register for the 5k is $10 for children 17 and younger\, 5 and under are free. Prices will go up to $15 on June 1st. Cost for adults 18 and older is $20 until May 31st\, $25 from June 1-June 29. Registration on-line is available until 7 p.m. on June 28th. Registration will be available on the day of the race 7a.m. – 8:30 a.m. in the parking lot by the barn. Please come early. Race packet pick up will begin at 7:30 a.m.\, also at the barn. T-shirts will be guaranteed only to those who register by June 1\, remainders will be first come\, first serve.

DESCRIPTION:Everyone’s favorite hill workout disguised as a race is back for the 22nd running. Is it the hardest 5K in the state? Maybe. But it might also be the most fun. \nLast year\, we had a record number of registrations and this year\, we’re looking to do even better. But with the same hills\, because you can’t have a race in Waldoboro without hills. \nOnce again\, Moody’s Diner will have a whoopie pie table set up mid-race so you can grab a quick snack and Dow Furniture will have a “rest area” in case you get tired. This year\, Morse’s Sauerkraut will be providing recovery pickle juice shots at the finish line. \nWe’ll have prizes for the top 3 male and female finishers\, plus a prize if you can beat your time from last year. DESCRIPTION:20 miles-compass run\, mountain bike\, climbing wall and paddle (canoe or kayak). Location: East Grand School\, Danforth. Extra challenges may include climbing wall\, mud pit crawl\, log rolling\, etc. 9 Divisions: High School\, Adult\, Family\, Open\, Jr/Sr. (Open division can be a relay team\, solo\, teams of any size. In short\, anything that doesn’t fit into the other divisions can compete in the open division. Family division leaves out the biking leg…great for families with younger kids and those not up for the biking leg). Over $1000.00 in student prizes! SUMMARY:12th Annual USM Healthy High 5K\,10K\,15k & 1-Mile fun run
DESCRIPTION:The 5k/10k/15k run/walk will start at the New Balance Recreation Center on the University of Maine campus and will continue on a course around campus ending back at the Recreation Center. The 5k/10k/15k courses will be timed until 1:00 PM. Both the 5K course and the 10K course are certified by USATF. The 15k is not a certified course by USATF. Prizes will be awarded for the top male and female runners in each of the divisions for both the 5/10/15k.
