DESCRIPTION:The 13th Annual New England Parkinson’s Ride will be held on September 12\, 2020….as a Synchronized Ride all across the country!\nPARKINSON’S IS NOT TAKING THE YEAR OFF AND NEITHER WILL WE!\nChanges to the 2020 New England Parkinson’s Ride\nAs we all work together during this unprecedented time\, we encourage everyone in our Ride Family to stay strong for the cause. Though we are unable to ride together in Maine\, and for months have been told what we can’t do\, let’s focus on what we can do: \n• Find unique and fun ways to fundraise with the knowledge that whatever you can do is more than what will get done without you. Every dollar you raise will help keep the research alive and gets us closer to a cure! \n• Gather your family and friends\, pick a favorite route in your area\, and join us for a LIVE START! (Just make sure you are following social distancing and local guidelines regarding allowable gatherings.) \n• Stay connected\, have FUN…and revel in the pure joy that comes from knowing that together we are making a difference! \nRegistration fee for our Synchronized Ride is $30 and includes a t-shirt and special gift. Although there is no fundraising minimum this year\, we know that Parkinson’s disease has in some way touched your hearts and your lives and that you will do your very best to keep research moving forward. \nSee videos of our participants as they share why they are cycling in sync.\nVisit our website for more information.

SUMMARY:Firebird Trail Race
DESCRIPTION:Firebird Trail Race is a grassroots\, tough trail event\, fueled by donations\, positive vibes\, and run on a 5K / 13M / 50K crushing course. It’s technical and challenging\, with lots of rocks and roots on mostly single track trail. The course is largely on the Cross-Falmouth Trail from Windham to Falmouth. Unlike other races\, to get in runners must donate to a non-profit of their choice within a year before the race. This race is truly a community effort\, volunteer run\, with the goal of helping each and every runner accomplish a grueling task\, whether for the first time or the hundredth time. We’ve added a 5K for those who just want a taste of the trails. 13M and 50K runners will receive a Firebird Trail Races shirt.
