DESCRIPTION:Join Us for the Annual Chili Chowder Cookoff in the Pub\nA Benefit for the Rangeley Lakes Snowmobile Club\nJoin us as we bring back the annual Chili Chowder Cookoff on Friday\, March 24th in The Pub at Saddleback Mountain. THE RANGELEY LAKES SNOWMOBILE CLUB owns and operates five grooming tractors with trail drags utilized to groom Rangeley and beyond’s trail network. Rangeley’s regional trail system boasts one of the largest organized clubs out of 281 in the State of Maine. RLSC club draws from a solid group of volunteers and paid groomer operators to keep the region’s trail system unmatched in New England. You have the option of joining us for singular workshops\, or all three monthly in February\, March and April. \nDuring this workshop\, you will learn to take professional-level wildlife photos with your mirrorless or DSLR camera. \nCenter for Wildlife ambassador birds will join us as we practice learned skills indoors and we will then practice outdoors with local wildlife! \nSESSION TWO: Intermediate Module – BIRD & PHOTOGRAPHER BEHAVIOR \n\nUnderstand and predicting bird behavior\nFinding birds in your community\nHow to use weather\, wind and golden hour apps\nTaking the bird’s perspective\nWhat to wear\nWhere to shot from\nWhen to shoot for best light and focus\nHow to recognize shooting opportunities\nMore\n\nClass size is limited to 15 people. SUMMARY:The Lollipop Races at Saddleback Mountain
DESCRIPTION:A long-running tradition at Saddleback\, every Sunday from 1-2 pm.\nThe Bea Wee Lollipop Race is open to ages 12 and under. Young skiers and riders can give the lollipop course a go on the Royal Tiger slope – just look for the signature lollipop signs and race flags. Join us for awards at 2:30 p.m. on the deck. Ribbons (and of course lollipops) will be given to the top three racers in all age groups. If your kiddo loves the Lollipop Races and wants to learn more about alpine racing\, check out our season-long race program FUNDAMENTALS OF SKI RACING. Questions?
