This year’s Music Fest features an electrifying lineup\, with Motor Booty Affair headlining the event and Fugitive performing. \nThis festival is about more than just music; it’s about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism and intellectual developmental disabilities. Proceeds from the Music Fest will directly support Waypoint’s children’s and adults’ programs. Waypoint offers a broad range of services designed to empower individuals with disabilities. Our special-purpose school supports children\, helping them thrive academically and socially. Case management and clinical services provide essential support to both children and adults\, enabling them to overcome various challenges. Additionally\, we ensure safe and stable living environments through our shared living arrangements\, group homes\, and in-home supports. \nThe Music Fest will kick off at 4 pm and continue until 8 pm at 5 Dunaway Drive in Sanford\, at Waypoint’s historic waterfront. Attendees can indulge in delicious food from local vendors\, including Kona Ice\, and enjoy the beer garden sponsored by Shipyard Brewing Company and River Junction. Exciting raffle items\, generated by Central Furniture\, include a Weber Grill\, Adirondack Chairs\, and an Outdoor Fire Pit. \nTickets for this not-to-be-missed event are available to purchase at www.waypointmaine.org. A collaboration between nonprofit organizations and local businesses\, the East Bayside Trail Fest consists of three events: \n\nTrail to Ale 10K\, presented by Martin’s Point Health Care – that’s right\, this beloved race is BACK!\nBayside Ride\, presented by Mann Law – a scenic 15- or 30-mile non-competitive group ride\nTrail Mix 2-Miler\, presented by Martin’s Point Health Care – a fun run and walk ideal for families\, new trail users\, and beginner runners\n\nThe events will be staggered throughout the morning and will culminate in a block party on Diamond Street featuring music\, food trucks\, local beer\, cider\, and spirits\, and more! \nWe’re looking for Volunteers! Spend a couple hours on a trail with beautiful views\, and help support your local trails!
