Join the Skowhegan AmeriCorps Outdoor Recreation Program (SAORP) for a refreshing snowshoe hike under the stars! Discover the contrasting beauty of snow and darkness as you meander along the Pinnacle Trail, which culminates at The Pinnacle. During this outing, SAORP coaches will share their expertise and offer tips for experienced and novice snowshoers alike.

The hike will be a little over one mile with moderate changes in elevation. This trail is perfect for all ages and skill levels; it’s even pet-friendly! Don’t forget to bring poop bags and clean up after your pet! Bring a headlamp or flashlight if you have one, and if you need to borrow snowshoes, let us know!

This program is hosted in partnership with Lake George Regional Park, who has graciously sponsored admission fees. However, donations are welcomed! Meet us in the East Side Parking Lot at the Pinnacle (Red) Trailhead.
