Join the Skowhegan AmeriCorps Outdoor Recreation Program (SAORP) to see the Debe River Walk Trail in a new light! You’ll cross the walking bridge, pausing midway for breathtaking views of the Kennebec River Gorge in the glow of sunset. You’ll then meander along a wide, paved trail, which provides a more intimate perspective of the rushing river. Watch for wildlife or catch a sweat on the outdoor fitness stations–this underrated trail has so much to offer! It’s a perfect opportunity to meet new people and get some fresh air!

The entire walk is about one mile. It’s low impact and perfect for seniors; it’s even pet-friendly! Don’t forget to bring poop bags and clean up after your pet! Parking is available behind M. Thai Restaurant.
